zoomA power inverter is constructed in preparation for the execution. A 555CN timer chip drives two parallel IRF 740 MOSFETs, which drive two ignition coils in opposite phase. The top knob controls the pulse power, the bottom knob controls the frequency. Plexiglass shielding increases the voltage rating by preventing arc-overs.
